The First Robotics Competition is the “the hardest fun you’ll ever have” for the high scholl students. It combine a lot of lastest science and technology. The high school team design, build, programm and operate the robot from zero to the cutting-edge and comprehensive technology applications. Under the strict rules, limited time and resources, there are still a lot of crazy ideas born every season. It’s a sanctuary for a group of future engineers. Within the limitation, stuedents are challenged to raise funds, design a team “brand,” hone teamwork skills, and build and program industrial-size robots to play a difficult field game against like-minded competitors. During the robot making, students are creating infinite possibilities. With the guidence from mentors, the future engineers, are on the road to success.

With the new season comes A LOT of challenging issues and a need for ideas, especially for rookie teams.

Iron Maple is here to help. We will constantly update our thought process and our robot ideas to aid those in need. We understand how frustrating it can be for teams to figure out a “just right” design for their robot, and there isn’t one. However, because of how the FIRST community works, ideas worldwide can be shared, communicated, and discussed. We are here to do our part so teams can create their ideal robot.
